Canada at 2:55 a.M. AST Saturday 21 November 2009.
A low pressure system near the Strait of honguedo will track across
the Gulf of St Lawrence waters this morning to lie near the Strait of
Belle Isle this afternoon. A trough of low pressure over the district
will move to lie east of the district this afternoon. Strong to gale
force southerlies ahead of the trough will veer to strong westerlies
behind it. Over the northern half of the district these westerlies
are expected to reach gale force later today.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Eastern Shore..fourchu..Sable..Cabot Strait..Northumberland Strait..
Gulf-Magdalen..chaleur-miscou and Anticosti.
