warning for wind and low relative humidity... which is in effect
from 11 am this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening.

* Affected area... in Missouri... fire weather zones 019... 027...
035... 036... 049... 051... 052... 059... 060... 061... 062... 063...
064 and 065.

* 20ft winds... south 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Relative humidity... as low as 22 percent.

* 10hr fuels... less than 9 percent.

* Impacts... these conditions are conducive for the rapid spread
and growth of uncontrolled wildfires.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and dry fuels can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
