Cunene River to Walvis Bay:
wind : SW 10 to 15 reaching 20 at times but se 10 15 to 20 in
the north.
Vis : poor in fog patches clearing in the north from Sunday
morning.
Walvis Bay to the Orange River:
wind : S to SW 10 to 15 reaching 20 at times.
Vis : poor in fog patches clearing in the north from Sunday
morning.
Vis : poor in fog patches.
Orange River to cape agulhas:
wind : S to SW 10 to 20 becoming se to E 15 to 20.
Vis : poor in fog patches in the north at first.
Cape Agulhas to east london:
wind : W to SW 10 to 15 becoming S 10 to 15 by end of the period.
Vis : good.
Sea state: 2.5m to 3.0m with E to se swells east of Cape St Francis
in the morning.
East London to Maputo:
wind : NE 15 to 25 reaching 30 south of Richards Bay and
becoming SW 15 to 25 in the extreme south in the second
half of the period, spreading northwards.
Vis : good but poor in showers in north at first.
Sea state: 2.5m subsiding from towards the end of the period, SSE
swells.
Mozambique channel:
wind : E to se 05 to 15 in the south and west reaching 20 at
first, otherwise variable 05.
Vis : moderate in showers and thundershowers in places in the
south.
Sea state: 2.5 to 3.0m in the south reaching 3.5 to 4.0m at first,
with SSE swells.
