Update...latest satellite images are showing increasing low level 
moisture advecting from the northeastern Caribbean towards the 
local islands. This moisture will increase the chances for 
light isolated to light scattered showers across the local area 
waters and parts of the islands...but mainly across the northern and 
eastern coasts overnight and early Wednesday. 


High pressure system centered over the central Atlantic extends 
southwestward and across the forecast area. This high pressure 
will keep the local islands and regional waters under a moderate 
to fresh northerly wind flow for the next few days. Another high 
pressure system is expected to move out from the middle Atlantic 
United States by Wednesday and then establishing itself across the 
central Atlantic later in the week. This feature will maintain a 
moderate northerly wind flow across the local area through the 
upcoming weekend. 


With this weather pattern...expect overnight and early morning 
showers across the northern and eastern coasts of the 
islands for the next several days. For the remainder of land 
areas...limited shower activity is anticipated for this time 
frame. However...for the afternoon hours...the western coasts of 
the local islands may experience isolated to scattered passing 
showers. 


For Puerto Rico...the central interior and southwest portions of 
the island have better chances for showers due to the combination 
of local island effects and sea breeze converge.

Aviation...VFR conditions are expected across the local taf sites 
through Wednesday. 


Marine...seas are slowly decreasing tonight and will continue to 
do so through Wednesday. However...across the off shore Atlantic 
waters...seas are averaging from 6 to 7 feet. Therefore...Small 
Craft Advisory remains in effect for those waters through Wednesday.
