 Wind Advisory
Statement as of 4:55 PM CDT on May 16, 2008

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CDT this evening...

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CDT this evening.

Northwest winds at 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 40 mph are expected
into mid evening across the forecast area. Areas of blowing dust
are possible in open areas near freshly tilled fields. Wind speeds
are expected to diminish around sunset as high pressure builds
into the area.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or frequent
gusts to 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
