The Flood Warning continues for
the Coeur D'Alene river at Cataldo
* until Tuesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 07:30 PM Friday the stage was 43.2 feet
* minor flooding is occurring... and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet
* the river is expected to continue to rise... cresting around
45.2 feet on Sunday morning. The river is forecast to fall below
flood stage on Tuesday morning.
* At 46.0 feet... water may approach the I-90 exit near Cataldo. Coeur
D'Alene River Road and Latour Creek Road will be innundated. At
44 feet... homes near the river may experience some flooding of
basements. At 43 feet... minor flooding of farmland from Cataldo
downstream to Harrison is likely.

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a

* Flood Warning for small streams in...
Kootenai County in the Panhandle of Idaho...

* until 800 am PDT Monday

* rapidly melting snow is beginning to cause significant rises on
smaller rivers and streams in Kootenai County.

* Wolf Lodge creek is currently running full and is out of
its banks in some places. Sandbagging operations have commenced
near Searchlight Lane just off of Wolf Lodge creed Road.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
All interested parties should take necessary precautions and monitor
water levels as well as future advisories and warnings from the
National Weather Service.

... Flood Watch is cancelled...

The small stream Flood Watch for portions of Idaho and Washington
has been replaced by small stream flood warnings and advisories as
well as main Stem river watches and warnings. Below is a summary
of watches/warnings/advisories that are currently in effect.

Small stream Flood Warning for
Kootenai and Shoshone counties in north Idaho.

Small stream flood advisory for
boundary... Bonner... and Benewah counties in north Idaho.
Asotin... Pend Oreille... Stevens... Ferry... Okanogan and Chelan
   counties in eastern Washington.

Mainstem flood warnings for the following locations...
Coeur D'Alene river at Cataldo affecting Kootenai and
     Shoshone counties.
St Joe river at St Maries affecting Benewah and Shoshone counties.
Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.

Mainstem flood watches for the following locations...
Clearwater river at Spalding affecting Lewis and Nez Perce
     counties.
Coeur D'Alene river at Enaville affecting Shoshone County.
Entiat river near Ardenvoir affecting Chelan County.
Methow river near Pateros affecting Okanogan County.
Moyie river at Eastport affecting Boundary County.
St Joe river at Calder affecting Benewah and Shoshone counties.

In addition... lake Coeur D'Alene and the Spokane river could
approach or exceed flood stage by Wednesday may 21st.

The National Weather Service in Spokane, WA has issued a
* Flood Watch for
the Coeur D'Alene river at Enaville
* from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.
* At 06 PM Friday the stage was 68.7 feet.
* The river is expected to crest near the flood stage of 72 feet on
Saturday afternoon... linger near 72 feet through Sunday afternoon...
then fall on Sunday night.
* At 71.5 feet... minor lowland flooding is possible between Prichard
and Enaville.

... 24-hour record high temperature set at Colville WA...

The high temperature at Colville in the past 24 hours ending at 935 PM
was 91 degrees. This sets the record for the highest temperature
for this period. The previous record of 88 degrees was set in 1924.
Records have been kept at this site since 1899.
