Area forecast discussion

Update...convection started earlier today and moved southeast resulting in 
a quiet evening for our area. 00z sounding shows our airmass has 
stabilized somewhat in wake of these storms. More storms are firing 
to the north of the area over central Georgia and may make it into southeast Georgia 
tonight as upper trough pushes across Georgia. Will leave chance probability of precipitation in 
the forecast for tonight. 




Aviation...VFR conditions are forecast.

Marine...a surface trough currently resides just north of the area 
and this feature is forecast to advance slowly south the next 
several days. Tonight...nocturnal influences will result in wind 
speeds of 10 to 15 knots in the nearshore legs...and around 15 knots 
farther offshore. Will make minor changes to coastal waters forecast package.
