Discussion... 


Starting off for the third day in a row with low clouds sliding in 
from the east and patchy fog across the area. As with previous 
days...fog to mix by middle-morning and low clouds to lift and mix by 
mid-day. A little more confident with afternoon highs now that we 
have a trend to build on. This week's cut-off low that passed over 
will come back at US beginning tonight as an upper ridge spills over 
the top of it forcing it back to the west. Am continuing to 
highlight slight chance for showers into Monday as dissipating low 
slides along the southern fringes of the County Warning Area. Of more certainty is 
increased cloud cover...which will in turn effect temperatures. Blanketing 
effect overnight will keep temperatures well above normal...while limiting 
daytime heating. From Monday afternoon into Wednesday...Southeast Ridge 
will be centered overhead. This will allow temperatures to easily climb 
into the middle 80s. By Thursday a front will slowly sag down in the 
near zonal flow enhancing rain chances.

Low stratus is shifting eastward across central Alabama resulting in 
MVFR conditions. Ceilings will gradually rise through midday with 
VFR conditions expected area wide by 18z. Winds will remain from 
the east through the next 24 hours...less than 10 knots.
